SUSTAINABILITY MATTERS

Protecting our future.

FABRIC CHOICES

The material mix we have chosen for Night Visor® reflects our commitment to maintaining nature’s equilibrium.
  • Lyocell

Lyocell is arguably one of the most eco-friendly fabrics on the market because it is sourced from renewable producers and is free from pesticides.

It is also processed via a low energy, low water, closed-loop system that recycles over 99.5% of the chemicals and solvents used in production, with the remaining 0.5% discharged as non-hazardous effluent.
  • Organic Cotton

Organic cotton is a very sustainable and farmer-friendly plant fibre.

Most organic cotton is produced in rain-fed locations where water naturally occurs through the weather system.

All pesticides are banned from its production meaning less pressure is put on local ecosystems.

FACTORY PARTNERSHIPS

All our products are made in Europe by market-leading factories with the highest ethical standards.
  • From inception our goal was to partner with factories that treated their workers fairly and had ethical values.

ZL1® is made in the UK using a world-class manufacturing partner who is Soil Association Organic approved.

Night Visor® is made in Portugal by manufacturing partners who meet our ethical and quality criteria. They are able to source materials locally which means we are able to reduce our environmental impact and overall carbon footprint.

OUR PACKAGING

95% of our packaging is recyclable or compostable.
  • Mailer Boxes

Our mailer boxes are all Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified board and made from sustainable forestry fibre. We use vegetable oil based inks with aqueous coating. They are fully recyclable.
  • Glass Jars

We use refillable glass jars to reduce shipping weights and our raw material consumption. We chose a supplier with a jar that had one of the highest recycled contents of 45%. Our jars are fully recyclable.
  • Refill Pouches

The pouches refill the glass jar. We are able to reduce our carbon footprint due to their compact size and lighter weight as fewer vehicles are required to move them around. They are compostable with 55% bio-based content.
  • Corrugated Flutelopes

We use paper flutelopes as they have a paper outer and inner and are fully recyclable.
